Diese Cuvee entstand zu Ehren des Gründers des Weingutes, Michel Gassier's Urgroßvater Joseph Torres.
Etwas eleganter und feiner als in den Jahren zuvor. Brilliante, violette Farbe. Aromen von frischen und eingekochten Früchten im Bouquet, Brombeere, Gewürzkiste und pfeffrige Noten. Mundfüllend, aber frisch und sehr rassig am Gaumen mit einem langen samtigen Nachklang. Insgesamt eine Reminiszenz aus Nimes an die nördlichen Rhonegebiete. Tolles Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis.

Trinken Sie diesen Wein bei ca. 16°C. zu Lamm- oder Wildgerichten z. B. mit Pilzen. Gewürze wie Rosmarin oder auch Sternanis passen hervorragend.

It continues to freshen up with time in the glass, has loads of fruit and no shortage of texture, all of which suggest it will be better with a year or two in the cellar and drink nicely through 2023."

"Plum red robe, legs. Has a fat, plump bouquet – an easy generosity of simmered red berries which lasts well, goes nicely deep. The palate picks up closely from the nose, with a rich, fluid offer of red stone fruits laced with keen, darl, licorice-influenced tannins. It has a quiet complexity, nudges of cut, rockiness, with agreeable fluid content. It tastes as if there is a good Mourvèdre presence, a fine and firm spine at its centre. The finish is clear, saline, long, with breadth and juice there. It is young, with good implicit vigour and overlay of opulence."

Das Weingut
Michel Gassier enstammt einer langen Linie von Winzern. Er ist in die Fußstapfen der Familientradition getreten, um ehrliche Weine mit starkem Charakter zu erzeugen, die dem Weinliebhaber sein mediterranes Lebensgefühl vermitteln sollen, mit den Erfahrungen von warmen Sommerwinden, dem Geruch der Landschaft mit seinen schattenspendenden Pinien und würzigen Kräutern. Hier kann sich mit der Wertschätzung eines aufrichtigen Handschlags oder eines entspannten Essens mit guten Freunden ein Gegengewicht zu der Marken-Globalisierung des Geschmacks entwickeln. Doch um das vielzitierte "Terroir" im Wein zum Ausdruck zu bringen, bedarf es einer Vertrautheit mit jeder einzelnen Parzelle, ihrem Boden und Mikroklima. Dieses Wissen entsteht nur durch lange Jahre der Beobachtung und des Verstehens.
